Graphic Art Production by Gail Guirreri

Graphic artist Gail Guirreri brings a unique set of skills including magazine print design, web site data management and development, graphic logo and vector designs. She is trained in fine art, oil on canvas, and has been part of the digital revolution since nearly the beginning. In the 1990's she used photoshop 1.0 to produce cmyk plates for printing magazine adverts. Even before that she programmed on the first portable computers in the early 80s.

Working as a fine artist (oil on canvas), composition balance and color is an important element used to attract and stop an audience to investigate further. Graphic designs can become vanilla due to lack of a physical artist hand. Vector drawings starting with a line drawing from a talented artist has a completely different feel. Technology has come a long way but photoshop's most important tool is still the vector path. Vectors can be expanded to the size of a billboard without loosing pixel quality. Too intricate a vector can not be sized down as easily. Gail starts with the smallest possible use and works the design in black and white stamp. A great logo or design will stand along in black and white.
